Stephen M. McNamara
Stephen McNamara is a civil litigator who has over 30 years of experience representing clients in complex litigation, in State and Federal courts, as well as before major Arbitration panels. Stephen’s clients have included domestic and international companies, as well as high-worth individuals involved in significant business disputes.
Stephen’s experience includes business disputes in a variety of fields, including intellectual property, real estate, employment, the circuit board and semiconductor industries, the dental and medical industries, mortgage insurance, and high-end audio production and testing equipment. For nearly 30 years he has litigated claims concerning contracts, partnership and corporate disputes and dissolutions, employment issues, product liability, copyrights, trademarks, trade dress, patents, trade secrets, fraud, and real property issues.
Before joining Brown, Wegner & Berliner in 2013, Stephen managed his own firm for 20 years, representing regional, national and international clients. Prior to that he served as an associate at Stradling, Yocca, Carlson & Rauth in Newport Beach, and as an associate at McKenna, Connor & Cuneo, focusing on complex business litigation.

Stephen is admitted to practice in all State Courts in California as well as Federal courts in California.
